It’s Monday Again

It was exciting to visit yesterday at New Hope‘s (Scott Prime) Kingston Campus. This new Kingdom expression is almost 5 months old and has many Sundays near the 80 mark in attendance. With a strong worship team, excellent children’s ministry, and a rotation of live preachers with the Kentville Campus, this has been very well received by the communities of Kingston & Greenwood. A steady flow of new faces and young families are engaging with this location with children representing more than 25% of weekly attendance. Scott and his team are to be commended for their effectiveness in this vision for Kingdom multiplication.

Inaugural National Conference of The Wesleyan Church of Canada (TWCC)

Information and online registration are now available for the first National Conference of TWCC to be convened just south of Montreal on August 14-15, 2019.Also, for those responsible to mail items to the National Office please note the Postal Code is –   E4E 5L6 (the former address given by the post office was incorrect).

Tuesday evening included a very energizing dialogue regarding a variety of items with the Presque Isle (Bud Fancy) LBA (pictured above). In addition to approving 15 new members, the LBA unanimously renewed Bud’s extended call. From mid-January through the end of March I will have enjoyed the opportunity to meet with 22 of our Atlantic local church boards (two virtual).

Riverside Camp Dates & Registration info is now available – Matt Maxwell (Journey) is the Evangelist for Family Camp (July 28-31).

This Tuesday, 20+ Atlantic pastors gathered at Hartland Wesleyan (Dave Wilcox) to continue the Zone DS Dialog meetings. The following day, the final DS Dialog with the Downeast Zone met at The River (Steve Sinclair) pictured below. While optional events, both of these Zones had high participation with 100% of pastors in Downeast. These have been important days for interaction and input exploring next-steps in the values-driven vision of the Atlantic District as the DBA prepares to discuss this further on April 10th.

Nackawic (Ryan Farrell) celebrated Kingswood University Sunday yesterday with 55 present.  Ryan shared this update, “We had a group of students from Kingswood providing music and Andrew Pearson shared the message. He did an exceptional job. Allen Price and his family were with us too. Allen communicated the vision and purpose of the school quite effectively.  Today, marked the end of our 40 days of prayer for Kingswood.”

This annual event at Kingswood University for World Hope International (Canada) is a worthy Kingdom investment. You will be challenged by the insights of Director of Anti-Human Trafficking Haley Clark. Please RSVP on or before April 8th (877.482.1499 or info@worldhope.ca). See more details in Upcoming Events below.
