Last weekend God was on the move in a very special way at Framework (Jason Blaikie)! The middle picture above captured the first night of The Bridge at the community rec center. What is The Bridge? The ministry targeting Univerity of Maine – Presque Isle (UMPI) and Northern Maine Community College (NMCC) through the connections and relationships developed by Hub Coffee.
- The weekly meetings started last summer have outgrown the available space at Hub Coffee and 45 Students showed up on the first night at the new location. Isaac Ashby shared, “A young adult named Ethan came tonight and the Holy Spirit began to move in him and he accepted Christ tonight!! It was an awesome night!”
This weekend the worship team at The Bridge partnered with Framework to lead the service. They celebrated 6 young adult baptisms as Kingdom fruit of the Hub Coffee initiative – PTL!

Legacy Sunday at Journey (Matt Maxwell) has become an annual highlight for celebrating how the past has laid a foundation for new days of Kingdom impact. With 635 in attendance, several exciting announcements were shared about the next chapter of Journey’s vision.
- Matt shared that in partnership with Crosspoint (John Sherwood) and Corbett (Jason Vienneau) a Journey-led Multiplication Network will be launching a second location by October 2026 in Oromocto! Journey will soon be multi-site and this Multiplication Network with the other churches in Fredericton is an incredible expression of selfless Kingdom synergy!
Important Update: Our Executive Administrator Karrilee is out of the office for health reasons for the remainder of the week. Also, remember that Monday is Family Day in New Brunswick and the District Office will be closed until Tuesday.
Thanks in advance for your patience with district response to your inquiries. |

Jason Blaikie ( Framework) also shared, “ We celebrated Marilyn Bouchard who retired from 23 years of service at Framework Church as Treasurer and Executive Assistant. Marilyn’s service spans three lead pastors and multiple years of church growth. She and her husband Mike have been a beacon of Jesus Christ in our Church and our community.
- Beyond keeping our books up to date there were many times Marilyn sat counseling people who walked in off the streets or poured out wisdoms as pastors sat across from her asking her for advice. She showed us what it looks like to serve sacrificially and with grace.”
Congratulations Marilyn on your retirement – thank you for your Kingdom service!

During a meeting with the Connection LBA last week, I was thrilled to see that they are taking turns each month to share in discipleship with Jeff Clark’s book, Praying on Offense. This was given to all delegates at District Conference last summer and we can’t wait to have Jeff with us in person this coming Beulah Family Camp. Stay tuned for more details!
- Sheryl (Dwayne) York has been providing excellent ministry as Interim Lead Pastor this year. It was an energizing meeting as we celebrated the growth and stability of our Connection family as we officially began the pastoral search.

On the first Sunday of February, I had the privilege of installing Pastor Jim Bechdol as Interim Lead Pastor of Crystal Wesleyan through the summer of 2026. His ministry began in November. Welcome to the Atlantic Tribe!
- Jim always has a Children’s Ministry Moment in the service. It was inspiring to hear him commend two young boys who have committed to read through the Gospels. Upon completion they will each receive their own Bible in support of their discipleship journey.
