The Ridge (Dave Wilcox) baptized five, three adults and two teens on Easter Sunday – PTL! Dave shared, “They all had amazing testimonies. We had 150 in church on Sunday. Also, on Good Friday our church made up 135 Easter Bags for a homeless ministry in Fredericton called Under the Tent. The bags included water, ponchos, clementines, mini flashlights, chocolate, and a $5 gift card for Tim Hortons as well as other items. Ladies in our church made over 100 sandwiches and a load of cookies.

  • Pretty much everyone in the Church was involved at some level, from donating items & cash, the youth group filled the bags and the ladies’ group (The Bereans) made the sandwiches and cookies. Nineteen people joined us to pass out the items and mingle and get to know those on the street. Great ministry on a great weekend!”

Other churches celebrated with baptisms including thirteen at Yarmouth Wesleyan (AJ Plaizier), two at South (Thomas Cann), and three at Amherst Wesleyan (Evan Oxner). Evan shared, “Two of them weren’t planning on it, but the Holy Spirit moved in them and they took that step of faith!”

Discipleship @ Crystal Wesleyan

Interim Pastor Jim Bechdol (Crystal Wesleyan) awarded two young men with their own Bibles for their achievement this spring in reading through the four Gospels. A great idea to spur on spiritual growth in the next generation!

  • Houlton Wesleyan
(Wayne Robertson) announced earlier this month that Andrew (Emily) Ross has accepted the position of Discipleship Pastor at Trenton Wesleyan in Ontario beginning this summer.

No power, no problem! A scheduled power outage on Sunday morning couldn’t keep the Perth Andover Wesleyan family from gathering for an acoustic time of worship & The Word. Hats off to Lead Pastor David Hartlen and his team for overcoming this setback to keep the doors open!

Journey (Matt Maxwell) leadership enjoyed a Board & Staff Retreat this past weekend at Beulah Camp & Conference Center. The schedule included celebration of Kingdom highlights and life transformation as well as strategic vision and planning for the next great chapter ahead. This fiscal year has seen incredible growth with a record watermark in average primary worship as well as the Legacy Sunday launch of a multisite future with a second Journey location coming to Oromocto in 2026.

  • Sacrifice is giving up something of great value for something of greater value. (Jim Clements)
  • You need friends; you need boundaries; you need vacations and breaks and time to yourself to re-energize. (Tim Stevens)
  • God is for me, but life is not about me. (Pat Steeves)
