Woodstock Wesleyan (Dale MacDonald) held a Baptism Sunday the end of July with two new Believers – PTL! One was a young man who had given his life to the Lord at the Band of Brothers weekend at Caton’s Island in the spring. Every number has a name. Every name has a story. These testimonials are powerful evidence of the Spirit at work.
- Speaking of a band of brothers – who is your church bringing to RESOLUTE next month!

Journey (Matt Maxwell) celebrated three baptisms on Sunday – that makes 9 so far since May 1st!
- Dave Dixon (Hillside Wesleyan) shared this week, “We had a new person at prayer meeting tonight, started coming to church the last month, and gave his life to Jesus just now!”

The Reach Wesleyan (Andy Phillips) offered True North VBS last week. Andy shared, “We handover 30 kids registered and lots of fun and Bible learning! We ended the week with a cookout and closing program. And all these kids (and maybe their parents) learned that we can TRUST JESUS!”

I had the privilege of representing the Atlantic District this past Friday at Oasis – the annual gathering of the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada. The Kingdom synergy of our tribes is critical in reaching the Atlantic region with the Gospel.
- Executive Minister Rev. Renée MacVicar convened a special breakfast gathering for ministry and denominational leaders in our region prior to the opportunity to join the morning session of the CBAC Conference.

Encounter Worship Team
It was a great Sunday of worship at Encounter (Jim Agrell) this week. Jim concludes his sabbatical and will return to the pulpit next Sunday. Sabbaticals are a strategic investment to recalibrate and rejuvenate your soul and passion for leadership. If you are a Lead Pastor and have served at least seven years in your current church, I would love to discuss more about this with your LBA.
