The Gathering @ Easton Wesleyan
Easton (Rich Thomas) recently started a new monthly outreach. The first Gathering promised “food, faith, & fun” and packed out the fellowship hall. Rich shared, “There were new families and individuals and a few people who haven’t been back to the Church for years. We are thanking God for such a good start to what we believe will be a good thing!”
Kings (Brent Ingersoll) Alpha Weekend happened this past Friday and Saturday at Beulah Camp. Combined with a group meeting online, there were over 60 people participating. Greg Hanson shared, “This was a really meaningful time, as people were removed from the busyness of everyday life and had a concentrated time to focus on the Person and work of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was clearly at work as people experienced freedom and had fresh encounters with Him.”

  • As a result, two of the participants were baptized on Sunday with a total of 31 people baptized across all Kings locations – PTL!
Fred & Friends Draws A Crowd for Missions!
Jacob Ebbett (Lower Brighton) shared this exciting report, “Our worship leader hosted another Fred & Friends concert to raise money for our annual mission trip to the Dominican Republic. We had 77 people out and raised $6004.00. God is so good and provides through the generosity of His people.” Well done!
District Roundtables took place at Cornerstone (Denn Guptill) and Yarmouth (AJ Plaizier) this week. It has been nearly three years since we have been able to gather like this. The waning pandemic is making way for a new day of rebuilding and the insights we have shared over five roundtables will be shared with all pastors later in November.
Moncton (Jim Clements) has been experiencing a surge of worshippers returning to in-person services this fall. Best of all, Sunday’s service featured 4 baptisms!

  • The Beulah Session of the Camp Board is seeking input and feedback to assist in the development of strengthening the mission of Beulah Camp and Conference Center. Over the next two weeks, Board members will contact pastors to learn, “How can Beulah help your church in making disciples?” They are also eager to hear responses from lay leaders, seasonal users, and family camp attendees to the question, “How does Beulah help you return to your community with a passion to share Jesus?” CLICK HERE to share your thoughts. We want to hear from you!
Encounter Weekend @ Kingswood!
Kingswood University was excited to host Encounter 2022 this past weekend for the first time since 2019. Over 200 youth from the Maritimes, Maine, and Ontario converged on campus for a weekend intentionally structured to help high school students encounter God and hear His voice amidst the chaos of this world. The weekend was marked by powerful times of worship in music and through the Word with the Encounter worship band and guest speaker, Parker Davis.

  • God is worthy of our worship, but He doesn’t need it. God calls us to worship Him not because He needs it to do something for Him but because He knows what it does for us. You become like what you worship. (AJ Thomas)
  • We are all a little broken. But last time I checked, broken crayons still colour the same. (Trent Sheldon)
  • Storms often create a new beach. The pandemic was a storm which created a new front for the Church. (Winfield Bevins)
