88 Years Young on Her Baptism Day!
Meet Vivian! On Sunday’s baptism at Hope (Joanne Ozon), this 88-year-young lady was one of five who celebrated in the waters of this sacrament. The youngest was eight and the new life in Christ of these baptism candidates spanned a lifetime of generations. Joanne shared, “You could feel the joy – this pics says it all. Welcome to the family of God!”
Joel Gorveatte Resigns @ Moncton Wesleyan
Joel Gorveatte (Moncton) concluded his message on Sunday with a faith-filled announcement that he and Tracy are sensing God’s call to serve in Manhattan to come alongside the Kingdom multiplication focus in the Upper East Side. His final Sunday will be August 28th and the Gorveattes will be be relocating this fall once they sell their home and possessions to relocate as tent-makers in this missional calling to one of the least reached parts of New York City.

Joel & Tracy have served the Moncton family with celebrated effectiveness during the past five years and we believe God’s future is bright for them and for the next chapter of this great church.
Meet the Gilroys (Island Wesleyan)
Brian & Kim Gilroy (along with their children, Jeshua & Judea) arrived yesterday on Prince Edward Island. Their entire candidating process has been virtual and Brian will begin serving as Lead Pastor of Island this Sunday. They left High Prairie, Alberta, on July 8th and began the long trek across Canada with two vehicles and their personal effects. It was a joy to meet and treat them in-person on Sunday. Welcome Gilroy family to the Atlantic Tribe!

More from Dr. Steve DeNeff…

  • You are bonded in your hearts by Christ, not by your convictions. Christ humbled Himself.
  • You can keep your occupation and be a marketplace multiplier but you can only have one preoccupation. There is no such a thing as a disciple who is not preoccupied with Jesus.
  • Jesus did not come to make your life happy, He came to make it abundant.
