Four Churches Serve Four Wharfs
This Advent season, Tim Conrad (Woods Harbour) linked arms for an impactful Wharf Outreach on Saturday! Food & Servers from Woods Harbour Wesleyan, Calvary Baptist, Coastal, & Guiding Light showed tangible support for fishermen across four wharfs in Shag Harbour, Woods Harbour, & East Pubnico.

  • Tim shared, “We handed out muffins, hot chocolate, and coffee donated by Tim Horton over the course of the afternoon. Our churches were so generous with baking and providing muffins that we had plenty left over to give to our local elementary school for their food program.”

Framework Serves 900+ for Thanksgiving!
Framework (Bud Fancy) had 100 volunteers show up to prepare and deliver 420 meals as well as have an in person meal for about 30 more on Thanksgiving Day last month. In addition, some of the congregation who live in the Fort Kent area rallied that community to work together resulting in 500 more meals delivered!
The Ministry Apprentice Program (MAP) added about 15 more students to join in this week’s launch of Lead Like Kings – one of 10 courses in this ministry certificate offered in partnership with Kingswood University. Brent Ingersoll (Kings) tag-teamed with Pastor B for this opening session. MAP is the primary leadership development track of Kings Academy – the Discipleship Pathway for Kings Church.

  • Students have the option of applying for Ministerial Student appointment with the Atlantic District through the DBMD. This certificate may be completed in one or two years and includes the competencies for the prerequisite academic requirements of becoming a Licenced Minister. These are exciting days of exploring new ways in raising Kingdom leaders!
Dr. Shirley Mullen provided excellent direction at the invitation of Tami Mutch-Ketch to a special session of the Beulah Session of the Camp Board. Beulah Camp & Conference Center is engaging in a process of vision clarity for the next chapter of Kingdom impact. We are incredibly blessed by the high quality board members who give sacrificially of their time and invest their wisdom in serving betters days for how Beulah can be a more effective tool to unleash churches for transformed lives.

Jeremy MacDonald Speaks at Kingswood University Pulse
On Wednesday the Kingswood University Pulse speaker was Jeremy MacDonald (Teaching Pastor @ Moncton and Director of Operations for Youth Worker Community). Jeremy (pictured above front left) offered a substantive presentation entitled “Gender, Sex and Sexuality: A Redemptive Response” (CLICK HERE to request a copy). Our district youth pastors were all invited and a group of them made the drive and enjoyed lunch together following the presentation. We are so blessed by the many ways Jeremy (an Ordained Minister in the Atlantic District) invests his influence to serve Kingdom impact!
Nationwide Prayer on Medical Assistance in Dying Law
Nearly 200 intercessors joined across Canada with the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada last Thursday for presentations and prayer against the evils of MAiD impacting our society.

  • He was created of a mother whom He created. He was carried by hands that He formed. He cried in the manger in wordless infancy, He the Word, without whom all human eloquence is mute. (Augustine)
  • You can never truly enjoy Christmas until you can look up into the Father’s face and tell him you have received his Christmas gift. (John Rice)
