It’s Monday Again

What do Dan Burman (New Hope), Dave Hartlen (Perth Andover), and Evan Oxner (Amherst) all have in common? That’s right, Reg Thomas (Perth Andover). One of the joys of the Lord’s work is the opportunity to mentor those who serve on ministry teams and all three of these emerging leaders grew stronger under Reg’s wing.
  • Yesterday, Dave Hartlen led a celebration of Reg & Janice as they conclude pastoral ministry in Perth Andover. CLICK HERE to enjoy a well-earned and deserving video tribute from these three mentees to Reg, which was shown in the service. If you don’t have ten minutes to watch it all, you may want to skip to timestamp 7:45 as Evan Oxner speaks to one of the great expressions of character in action by this man of God.
Thank you, Reg & Janice, for all you have done to serve the Church and for your investment in those who stand on your shoulders!
Great things happen when a church leaves its four walls and goes out into the community together! West Head (Vince Robertson) is partnering with World Hope International Canada to help another community in West Africa drill a well that will provide clean water and hope. Vince shared, “It was a great day for a 5km run and car show with BBQ on Saturday. We raised almost $1700, bringing our total to $4400!”

Points to Ponder
  • In our urgency to serve sometimes we lose our identity as sons and daughters. God has no grandchildren. (Landon Dorsh)
  • Vulnerability is not exposure, it is a willingness to be seen by our Father. (Landon Dorsh)
  • Holiness is intimacy uninterrupted. (Landon Dorsh)
