Dale MacDonald and I were in Indy this past week to a Symposium on Ministerial Training. It involved DS’s, DBMD Chairs and theological profs from our universities. Good interaction and some helpful take aways.
Big event on June 23. A Retirement Celebration for LD and Lois Buckingham will be held in Moncton with LD preaching his farewell message at 10 AM and an Open House reception from 2-4 in the afternoon. I plan to be there and I know a number of you will be present also for this capstone celebration of 44 years of ministry in Moncton.
Peter Hayes was at Crosspoint yesterday as an Assistant Pastor candidate; a new Executive Pastor – Dale Betts – was introduced at Moncton; KV saw 3 saved, 15 baptized and the vision for KVEast was launched; Maple Ridge heard a challenge to burn their plows; John Symonds preached at Corbett; Rob McDowell’s last Sunday at Easton; Good day at SJ1……

Had an excellent meeting this week with the Brown’s Flat Advisory Group and Worship Committee and also attended Posie Ingersoll’s funeral. I regret that I was unable to attend the funeral of John Corey who served faithfully and with distinction on our DBMD for several years.
