Monday Again

Greetings all!
Staff changes are in the wind and many of you may already know about all of this – but to keep the info loop complete and in good working order, please note:
Peter Hayes has accepted a position as Assistant Pastor at Crosspoint.
Tim Long will be assisting at Havelock, NS on a part-time basis.
Kathy Shanks has accepted the Children’s Pastor position at Fredericton Journey. She will also be employed on a special contract basis at UNB.
Mel Norton had his farewell service at Hartland today and baptized 6 last Sunday.
Stefan Gilbert is speaking at the Calvary Baptist Graduation ceremony tonight in Lockeport.
Beulah Family Camp gets under way a week from Friday. The program people have put a winning program together; the speakers are prayed up and focused; the worship leaders are pumped and I trust you will be a part of those days.
You can pre-register for events at Beulah this year – Jr. VBS, VBS and the golf outing. Go to the Beulah Camp site and click on Family Camp and then follow the links. Another example of seeking to serve you better.
Had good visits this week with A J Plaizier, Matt Maxwell, Matt Palmer, Mark Brewer and briefly with Jamie Cambers while I was in Freddy for a DBMD sub-committee meeting that included Dale MacDonald and Mel Norton. It is great to get out and about and rub shoulders with the tribe.
sj1 (Saint John First) honoured 8 graduates in their service this AM and 3 were baptized at Woodstock.
I will be operating out of the Beulah office for much of the summer starting this week. Both offices will be open Mon-Thurs until Labour Day except for the two full-throttle weeks when Beulah is fully operational. During those two weeks, only the Beulah office will be open and it will be a Mon-Sat schedule.
Massive celebration at Moncton this AM as LDB wound up 44 years of ministry there. A number of interesting elements were a part of the packed house service including his farewell sermon. The Mayor was present and spoke and I was honoured to be asked to speak and to pray the prayer of succession as the baton was passed from LDB to Pastor Tim.
THOT: “Life is a series of attitudes and adjustments.” My mother’s words to Mel Norton when he was her pastor back in the day.
