A Polar Dip with a Difference!
This picture says it all about the amazing baptism of two Christ-followers. You know someone is serious about their faith when they are willing to endure 38F/3C temperatures! Coastal (Jason Parker) was joined by a great turn out of pastors and other churches this Sunday afternoon on the Cape Island Causeway to celebrate two transformed lives.

  • One of the Coastal family posted this, “When they came out of the water from being baptized, words cannot express how excited they were… God is certainly working in our communities.”

Beulah Session of the Camp Board
At the invitation of Executive Director Tami Mutch-Ketch, Dr. Shirley Mullen has been guiding the Beulah Session of the Camp Board through the development of a multi-year strategic plan. We are blessed by the significant investment of time over several additional fall and winter meetings by our board members as Shirley’s gifts and expertise in Kingdom leadership are providing focussed anticipation for the years ahead.
National Church Multiplication Day @ Journey
About 15 pastors gathered at Journey (Matt Maxwell) this Thursday for an opportunity to engage with several presentations by National Superintendent Steve Elliott and National Multiplication Director Mark Parker.

Another exciting word from Journey as Matt shared, “What an amazing picture summing up our international and young adult growth.” The wall of flags in the sanctuary representing the nations who attend will soon have another 10 added for a new total of 31 countries. Best of all, the Journey family has seen 5 people come to Christ in the last three weeks – PTL!
The power and presence of the Holy Spirit is being poured out at Asbury University in an unusual way. Since the beginning of Chapel on Wednesday @ 10:30 a.m., people have been flooding to the Hughes Auditorium to worship, confess, and repent.

Emotionally Healthy Spirituality @ Encounter
A growing desire for community & connection has brought great momentum and excitement in the new year at Encounter (Jim Agrell). Jim shared, “We are so excited to see new families that are finding Encounter to be more than just a friendly place, but a place where you can make friends! Our men’s and women’s ministries are growing with 80 men attending a recent men’s breakfast on Saturday morning.”

  • Over 100 people are taking an eight week Emotionally Healthy Spiritualitycourse on Sunday evenings, led by Pastor Josh Miller. Healthy people grow healthy communities!

Miramichi (Anton Topilnyckyj) Welcomes New Faces
It was encouraging to join our Miramichi Wesleyan family on Sunday and to see several new faces who have joined the congregation in recent weeks. After an enjoyable time of fellowship over lunch onsite, a very positive pastoral review with the LAC resulted in the ongoing district appointment of Lead Pastor Anton Topilnyckyj. Anton & Louise have provided steady leadership through the pandemic and the church is gaining strength for the season ahead.

  • On Tuesday evening the LBA of The Reach voted unanimously to renew the Extended Call of Andy Phillips as Lead Pastor. Andy has worked tirelessly to serve the extended process of the merger of these two congregations who are now meeting weekly in the renovated and upgraded location on Beals Island.
