Atlantic Connexion

Hope (Joanne Ozon) hosted the second annual Illuminate Nova Scotia – a night like no other for the special needs community. It was a night to show 88 honoured guest (up 43 from last year) that the God of this universe loves them with a Mary Poppin theme that declared they are practically perfect in every way!

  • With over 200 present (including all the volunteers) each guest was celebrated – one by one as they walked the red carpet. They enjoyed a catered meal, and to end this magical night, each one of them were crowned King and Queen.

Joanne shared, “I am reminded once again what a privilege it is to be part of this community and to understand a little more each year with every event, each encounter, every handshake and hug, that we are all equally worthy and that there is infinite beauty in our unique abilities. But most of all to understand that the love of God holds no limits. I just love watching people pour the LOVE of God over others!”

Crosspoint (John Sherwood) celebrated two more baptisms this Sunday – PTL! John shared, “Plus – we have raised over $12,000 for a Caton’s Cabin ($11K was the goal) and more money is coming in and being counted!”

  • Yarmouth (AJ Plaizier), Coastal (Jason Parker), & South (Tom Cann) celebrated an incredible Easter Weekend with nearly 1000 in attendance and 10 baptisms!

West Head (Vince Robertson) had 49 attend their Easter Breakfast with 90 in the Easter Service and one recommitting their life to Christ!

  • Kings (Brent Ingersoll) celebrated more than 50 salvations across the five locations on Easter Weekend – God is on the move and lives are being transformed for His glory!
65 women representing 21 churches throughout New Brunswick and Nova Scotia gathered for Come Away My Beloved at Beulah Camp and Conference Center for one purpose – to be with Jesus. Through the teaching of spiritual disciplines and the formation of new relationships, many committed to being accountable to grow in their discipleship with Christ.

  • A flame has been lit within these women to form discipleship groups in their home communities, to share the Gospel and live as disciples who make disciples, who make disciples. Praise God for the seeds that have been sown this weekend!
