Atlantic Connexion

Global Partners Missionaries in Earthquake/Tsunami Region
Robin & Yoko White began the New Year in the aftermath of an earthquake and tsunami. They are an extension of our Atlantic District family as they are the hands and feet of Christ in the midst of great need. The are serving alongside Immanuel General Mission to provide tangible support as they build bridges into the hurting community and share Jesus love.

  • Please pray for them as they continue to make a difference and sow Gospel seeds into hearts and homes. CLICK HERE for their updates on this situation.

Love New Canadians Empowers Local Churches

Love New Canadians is currently used in 9 provinces with congregations ranging from 50 to 4000. After more than 15 years of victories and defeats to learn from, it has been used in 500+ churches across Canada and has been employed by the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada and SIM to train churches. The three levels of curriculum engage new Canadians in our communities through general interest and spiritually curiosity using Bible-based English literacy.

Our Maine churches can also benefit from engaging with  Immigrant Ministry and Wesleyan Immigrant Connection.

  • If you’re going to lead people, the first hard thing you have to do is the hard work on yourself to figure out who you really are as a person so that I can lead authentically from my heart and who I am. (Andy McKay)
  • The most accurate metric for your love of someone is how you feel about their flaws. (Mark Manson)
  • Fear distorts our ability to see opportunities as they are. (Gio Valiante)
KIngswood Learn Launches @ Follow 2023!

We are going to get a front row seat to unpack the amazing resource of Kingswood Learn during District Ministerial. President Lennox will be onsite to provide a thorough introduction to his phenomenal and cost-effective resource for raising and releasing leaders in our local churches! Steve is leading with courage and effectiveness in this season and has already raised over $1.1M in cash and pledges toward the five-year goal of $2.7M to make this resource available for free to serve the local church. What will this include?

● Two-sided platform offering high-quality, thoroughly vetted, free micro-courses addressing questions commonly raised in the church.
● Primary purpose is to strengthen the church by providing free resources for discipleship and leadership development.
● As a two-sided platform, individuals can be both consumers and producers, using the content provided by Kingswood, but also customizing the platform by adding their own content.
● Some users will also be inspired by tasting the high-quality learning offered in these micro-courses to take advantage of Kingswood’s other options, such as certificate and credit-bearing programs.
