It’s Monday Again

Hillside (Jay Guptill) conducted an “Adventuring Through the New Testament” seminar last week with 50+ in attendance. Sharon Guptill posted, “It’s exciting to see people looking forward to studying Gods word. Pastor Daniel Mansvelt is teaching this weekend. A great evening for sure and more teaching tomorrow.”
520 Wesleyan leaders convened this week in Florida with more than 5000 in attendance for Exponential – the premier church multiplication conference in North America. Jason Parker (Woods HarbourCoastal Church) was present from the Atlantic District (pictured above with Nathan Maskery and John Gorveatte). Jason shared, “What a tremendous conference. Exponential sets the table for you to engage in the dialogue of conversations you need to have regarding multiplication and ministry effectiveness that are difficult to do in your own context. Rubbing shoulders with 520 Wesleyan helps you to tangibly see the movement God is unleashing in our own tribe in the Pre-Conference and I came away from the conference refreshed and inspired with clarity and passion to take the next steps the Spirit is leading in my local context.”
Digby (Andrew Maves) recently hosted their 7th Annual Lobster Bash with more than 300 in attendance. This growing event has provided many opportunities for community connections – another great Maves idea!

  • Being strong is not about winning. Being strong is about getting up again when you lose. (Brian Sanders)
