Atlantic Connexion

The Atlantic Ministerial Tribe honours our sacred moments of life, love, and loss. And in these moments we lean in as a spiritual family to share in joy and sorrow. Over the past few days we have experienced all of these as we are partnered in ministry.

Congratulations to Evan & Heidi Oxner (Amherst) on the happy arrival yesterday morning of their third child – a warm welcome to Lillian Edith (9 lbs. 20 in.)! Mama and baby are doing well – Lily looks adorable :).

Congratulations to the newest couple in the Atlantic Tribe! Introducing Rev. & Mrs. HC & Debby Wilson – CLICK HERE to enjoy a recording of their private family ceremony celebrated on Saturday (begins @ timestamp 1:45). Two of the Kingdom’s finest have found their second love in life – O happy day!

Ellen joins me in expressing sincere condolences on behalf of the Atlantic District for the loss of two cherished loved ones of our Ministerial family this past Thursday.

We offer our loving support for Anne, his wife of 29 years, and also his brother Doug and family including his niece Maridel (Ryan) Farrell. • Also, for Greg & Shera Hanson (Kings) on the passing of his father, Doug. We especially remember this family including the families of Doug’s other son, Jeff, and his daughter Patti Lynn as this loss comes just four months after their mother’s passing in the fall. 700 Women Offer Praise & Worship of the King
Harvest Live captures a moment in time when over 700 women gathered together with Kings Church band and worship leaders to turn their hearts toward Jesus and magnify the name of our glorious King of Kings. It’s our hope and prayer that as you bring this music into your homes and lives you’ll experience the glory of God’s presence in worship as we experienced Him together that weekend at Harvest Women’s Conference.

Asbury University Revival Announces Next Steps
Asbury University President Kevin Brown shared an important announcement this weekend regarding the next steps unfolding is the special anointing of the Spirit on these historic days. CLICK HERE to watch this update.

  • Skepticism about the He Gets Us campaign. Skepticism about the Asbury revival. I get it. I’m a naturally skeptical person myself. But maybe this is a “quick to listen, slow to speak” moment. God often moves in ways I’d never predict. Skepticism isn’t a fruit of the Spirit. (Ian Simkins)
  • Authenticity in and of itself doesn’t guarantee success. But a lack of authenticity guarantees failure. (Jamie Lee Kerma)
  • Have you any days of fasting and prayer? Storm the throne of grace and persevere therein, and mercy will come down. (John Wesley)
