It was an exciting Sunday at River Valley Wesleyan (Darren Clark)! Six baptisms included both of Darren & Janel’s daughters and two of Dave & Carolyn McElhinney’s grandchildren – PTL! Nothing is sweeter in ministry than to baptize our very own.

Darren preached a strong message about the impact of Ananias on Paul in the early days of his life as a Christ follower including the invitation to the sacrament of baptism.

Dave had the privilege of baptizing a long-standing friend who had been first impacted by his influence 37 years ago. We never know how the Holy Spirit is at work through the seeds we sow to reap a harvest!

Matthew (Darci) Forrest has been appointed as Interim Lead Pastor of Connection (Luke Anderson) beginning June 19th. Denn Guptill (Cornerstone Wesleyan) will serve as Matt’s coach over the year ahead as well as providing leadership to the LBA.
